Hey! I’m Danielle. I’m a web developer by trade, making websites more accessible.
I’ve had a few of craft and creation type hobbies over the years (starting with the typical ones as a millennial kid, then moving to cross stitch, 3d metal puzzle kits, and wooden puzzle kits), and tried out a bunch more. But nothing has felt quite the same as crochet does for me.
I had seen those crochet kits around and asked for one for Christmas in 2023. Almost a full year later, I finally cracked it open and gave it a shot. I did the first few rounds and put it down. A full month later, I finally picked it back up again and haven’t stopped since.
It’s fun making cute things and gifts I think people will love. And it’s incredibly pleasing to be able to make something functional.
I enjoy figuring things out, and I’ll often take inspiration from patterns and modify them or expand on them. I’m hoping one day to be able to write my own patterns from scratch, too!
I have a list of things I want to make, usually something I need, something I’ve seen, or gift ideas. Which means I go where the inspiration takes me.
I’ve made a bunch of different projects: blankets, scarfs, stuffed animals, wall hangings, the hood pictured above, bookmarks, coasters, bowl cozies, baskets, even a pair of gloves.

I made a garland for my wife to hang on her table at vendor shows, and then the moon phases to put on the table for the Lunar Faire.
And so the idea seed was planted.
I started making some ornaments for the small tree she was going to have on her table and realized they could also be hung together like a garland, and that the pieces from her garland could be used for ornaments.
What if I created cute things people could hang to make their homes more cozy?
So take a look around, and I hope you enjoy! And if you don’t see something you want, let me know so I can make it!
